If you encounter an error message while using Boords, there are several factors that could be at play. This may show up as a "Check your connection" error.

The error could be caused by one of the following:

  • Corporate firewall or network filtering tools: Your organization's network security measures, like firewalls or filtering tools, might restrict or block certain actions in Boords (uploading an image, for example). These tools are designed to safeguard the network but can sometimes interfere with file transfers.

  • Browser extensions: Certain browser extensions or add-ons, particularly those designed for security or privacy, can interfere with web page functionality. These extensions might block or alter the data being uploaded, leading to errors.

  • Issues on Boords' end: The problem could originate from our service. Check our status page to see if there are any known issues or outages that might be affecting the functioning of the app. You can view our status page on the live chat pop-up:

In any of these scenarios, identifying the root cause is the first step towards resolving the issue. If you think that none of the above are at play, reach out and let us know - we'll do our best to have you back in action as quickly as possible!
