Sometimes storyboard shots need more than one frame. This is where Frame Grouping comes into play!

With Frame Grouping, you can show related frames together under a single number. Perfect for shots with complex action 👌

Grouping Frames

To group frames together, first, select the frames by clicking them. You'll know that frames have been selected when you can see a blue border around them.

From the Toolbar, choose Group selected frames or use the keyboard shortcut Command + g.

When frames have been grouped together, they'll be represented as a number followed by a letter (e.g. 2a, 2b, 2c).

Ungrouping Frames

To remove frames from a group, just select them again and click Remove selected frames from group

The frames numbers will then return to separate numbers for each frame.
