Team-only comments are a great way to keep certain conversations private within your team. Whether you're discussing sensitive details or just want to collaborate with your team behind the scenes, these comments will remain hidden from guests and anyone who isn't part of your team.
What are team-only comments?
Team-only comments allow you to leave private notes that only your project team members can see. These comments will not appear in the shareable view for guests or for any users who are not on that project. They’re perfect for keeping internal discussions separate from what guests can see.
How do I add a team-only comment?
When you go to leave a comment, you'll see a dropdown in the comment editor with two options:
Everyone: This is the default setting. Comments posted under this option will be visible to everyone who has access to the project, including guests.
Team only: Choose this option to make your comment visible only to your project team members.
When you select Team only, the comment box will turn orange, so you’ll know you’re in team-only mode.
How team-only comments appear
After you submit a team-only comment, it'll be highlighted in orange and will display a lock icon next to your name, indicating it’s private to your team.
Guests and non-team members will not see this comment when viewing the project storyboard.
Availability of Team-Only Comments
Team-only comments are available only to users on the Workflow plan. If you're not on the Workflow plan, you'll see an upgrade prompt next to the Team only option. If your team could benefit from private commenting, it might be time to consider upgrading!
