1. Accept invitation

When your teacher invites you to join Boords, you’ll receive an email with the following subject line:

[Boords] ✏️ Invitation from (your teacher’s name)

Open this email and click the “Accept invitation” link.

2. Create an account

You’ll then be asked to create your own Boords account (if you don’t already have one). Enter your name, email address and create a password. Then, agree to the Terms & Conditions and click “Create account”.

3. Find class project

After signing up, you’ll be directed to the Project Dashboard. Here you’ll see two sections - Team Account and My Projects

Make sure that you’re looking at the Team Account section.

Find the project with your class name on it (for example, it could be Drama Grade 8). Click this project to view the storyboards inside it.

4. Create a storyboard

To create your own storyboard, click the + icon.

Choose a name for your storyboard and select "Create storyboard".

5. Get creative!

Now you can begin working on your storyboard. This is a good article to read at this point!

6. Add images

If you’d like to draw your own images, first add some blank frames to your storyboard.

Then, hover over the frame and select “Edit”.

Here, you can use the drawing tool to draw images. Read more about the Image Editor here

Or, search for images in the Image Library.

7. Add notes

Next, add your notes to explain what's happening in each frame. Read this article to find out more about adding notes to your storyboard.
